Kansas Pheasant hunt
Denny and Cheryl Long with their lab, Moonshine opening
weekend near Dodge City, Kansas. This was the first wild
pheasant hunt for both Cheryl & Shine. The birds were so
plentiful, we had 89 roosters the first day, and 34 birds on
the half-day hunt. Beautiful weather, great friends,
old and new. This experience could not have been any better.

DIVA’s. It was the first women’s only event we have had at the range and it was a lot of fun. Cheryl and I had a great time planning and setting up. We served different types of tea and there were plenty of snacks and fruit. We even had a drawing for a couple of door prizes. There were DIVA’s from Colorado as well as some of our range members and other acquaintances. Everyone enjoyed socializing and shooting.
It was a beautiful day for shooting. We had one of our private berms set up with steels for women that brought their own guns. We also had some of our own guns and did test fires so they could try different guns. The trap range was a lot of fun as well. There were some that borrowed shotguns and tried trap for the first time.
