We had a great time and the weather the first part of the
week was warm and pleasant. Whereas from Thursday until
we left Tuesday afternoon it rained and rained, but it was cool and nice. We brought
back lots of fish.

Attached a couple of pictures of the Glamorous life of fishing.
I was the only woman out of the
group of six.

 Luv, Liz G.

Sow taken in Fairfield Saturday evening. Sat in the blinds (Steve in one and me in another) and didn't see any pork chops on the hoof. Got ready to leave the property, I was putting away my rifle and Steve said to keep it out, just in case.. So we head on down the road and there go about ten of them crossing in front of the truck. Sue the Sow here didn't make the crossing.

Turkey Hunting in Texas is twice as fun!

Are you sure it is in the wrist action?

Haley Vines, owner and designer of Haley Vines Outdoor Collection,
and her brother, Matt Vines went on a Merriams turkey hunt in Colorado the second weekend in April.

They were guests of Kevin Weldon, host of “Bad Bob and Jimmy’s Posted Places TV.” Haley got her first turkey on this trip and fell in love with it. Matt who has an outfitting business, Wild Vines Trophy Hunts, had also never taken a turkey and got his first bird on this hunt as well.

The hunt was all filmed and she will be a guest on “BB&J Posted Places TV” which will air on Thursday, July 9th at 7:30 pm EST on ICTV (Dish Channel 230).

Check out our website www.haleyvines.com and sign up for the mailing list so that you can stay informed on when our clothes will be available for purchase.

Since it's turkey season I thought you'd like to see this.
On Sat. 4/4/09. I was turkey hunting with a guide.
Along came this big Tom in a full strut, and I guess his buddy
stuck his head out to see what he was in such a tuff about,
and I pulled the trigger. BOOM!...I killed them BOTH with one shot.
Figure the nixt time I go to a sporting goods store,
I tell them "I just need One shell please" Ha Ha.

The first photo is my dove hunting trip to Mexico August 2008.  I was the only woman on the trip and shot just as many as all the guys!!  My bird boy made a mexico christmas tree for me with the birds.  It is really to keep the ants and bugs off of them but its clever!!
The rest of the photos are me and the Divas having Fun...

I went on my first deer hunt this past weekend and I bagged an 8 point buck.  Yes, I am bragging :) because it was a 175 yd shot and I dropped him where he stood, my little 270 is wonderful.

Hello from Canada.
Here is a photo of my two partners in crime...
the cute one is our dog Cedar!
Carly.
When we finally caught sight of a Waterbuck, he was approx 100-120 yards away.  I do have to say we were also avoiding a HUGE Rhino that was keeping an eye on us.  At one point he was approx 40 yds away and was staring us down.  We went after the Waterbuck!  I forgot to put my hearing protection in and when the Browning .375 H&H went off I was temporarily deaf.  I got the animal as you see in this picture.

I am already planning on going back to hunt again in the next two to three years. Mafigeni Safaris treated me great and put me on great animals.

I bagged this "big daddy" on November 30 at 4:00 p.m.
My heart was pounding something terrible. He has a 20 inch
spread and 10 points. I had to call my girlfriend to come
and help me load him in the back of the truck.

Guess what!

I was running a beauty shop in rural Tennessee when her shooting skills came to the attention of the hunting industry. Today, she is a television star and paid speaker at hunting conventions, where fans wait in lines for her autograph.

Well,  as one of my friends said.....You know  you can kill a buck with a bow - some bucks just have to be shot with a rifle.....This magnificent old man was such a buck.  As you can see from the attached pics I am just slightly excited - wooooohooooo........
