To my fellow DIVA’s,
Hello Ladies,
I’m back from a month of traveling across the beautiful Southern States of the Great U.S.A. attending the Seminole Cup Shoot in Florida and the Browning Briley in Cajun Country, Louisiana. First of all, we are happy to let you that our auto and RV held up well this year. On with the shooting story; I placed second in the NSCA Class “E” in the Phil Hughes Preliminary Competition. Then on Saturday and Sunday I shot the Main Event and placed fourth overall in my class. Yippee!! We then went to Myrtle Beach, NC and spent a week on the Atlantic, fishing one day offshore for Atlantic Sea Bass. We caught quite a bit of those little rascals and ended up with a basket full of keepers. I cooked them one night for dinner and boy were they the best.
On to Louisiana we go; across Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi. The bumpiest roads are in LA for sure. What gorgeous weather we had while shooting there. I visited with Lynne Green and Karen Johnson, fellow DIVA’s while there. I can’t say I placed as well at this shoot as I did in the Seminole Cup but I held my own. While I was visiting with Pam and Mike with Alamo Sporting Arms located in San Antonio, TX, I found a sweet little K-80 shotgun that had my name on it! So now I look forward to the end of the week when I should have the K-80 in my hands. Until next time, straight shooting ladies.
Traveling DIVA,
Sherry Otto
