Why?
Because after a few Pistol League Meetings, lots of Divas
are feeling the need to COMPETE!
What is a Postal Match?
It's a way to compete with other women on a national level,
but with the advantage of firing on your home range.Who can participate?
Any female may enter - there are no age limits.

How much does it cost?
Entry fee is $10. There may be an additional fee (a very small one)
to cover the cost of the targets.

Where?
The Divas will be holding Postal Matches at Elm Fork Pistol Range.
www.elmfork.com All matches must be witnessed and scored by
current NRA members - Judy Rhodes and Marietta Johnson have
volunteered to be the official witnesses/scorekeepers for the
pistol competition. We will send out information later for dates
when we will be shooting.

Registration?
We'd like to get this done as soon as possible! If you are interested
in registering, please contact Judy or Marietta for the proper registration
forms. The deadline for registration is no later than November 13th since
we'd like to send in everyone's registration at one time. This would give
us enough time to get the score sheets back from the NRA! All NRA
rules and regulations will be followed for the competitions. You can also
click on the link for the NRA registration form

Equipment?
Any .22 caliber semi-automatic pistol or revolver with metallic,
telescopic, or electronic sights may be used. Sights that project
an image on the target are prohibited.
Targets/Course of Fire?
10 shots are fired at 3 targets at a distance of 50 feet.
This constitutes a complete match. All 30 shots must be fired
consecutively as a complete course of fire.
1st target: 10 shots fired in 10 minutes
2nd target: 10 shots fired in 1 minute (60 secs.)
3rd target: 10 shots fired in 30 seconds
We have until December 27th to fire as many matches as we want.
The best scores will be sent in to the
NRA Women On Target Postal Matches
for a chance to win.

Future Plans?
The Women's Postal Matches for 2010 will begin on
Jan 1st and end on Dec 27, 2010. If you are interested in
competing against other women across the country next year,
please let us know!

Postal matches will include the following disciplines:
Pistol - Rimfire (.22 cal), and Center-fire
Rifle - Smallbore and High Power
Shotgun - Skeet, Trap, 5-Stand, and Sporting Clays

compete in.You will need to go to your local range for the
target shooting and have an NRA member score you.
